History of Rainbow LLI

Rainbow LLI Boston was started in the fall of 2011 as an outgrowth of Stonewall Lifelong Learning, which had merged with the Umass OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute).  Those who formed Rainbow wanted to continue to maintain an LGBT identity.

 

Rainbow is a volunteer run organization managed by a Board of Directors, some of whom were active in the founding in 2011.  We welcome input from all participants to continue our vibrant programming.  Check out our long history of classes and speakers.

 

When Covid-19 hit in the spring of 2020 we lost one term, but used that time to transition our programming to Zoom. In the future, we will be offering a mixture of in-person and Zoom programs.
