Liz Diamond
Curriculum Committee
Liz Diamond has been an enthusiastic member of the Rainbow Lifelong Learning Institute community for a few years, and loves teaching classes in music appreciation. She is also a member of the Curriculum Committee and the Board.
Liz received her BA from Boston University in Music, and an MA from Lesley University in Education. A former public school music teacher, Liz founded Women’s Educational Media, Inc. and created lesbian educational outreach materials including the media presentation Straight Talk About Lesbians, and The Lesbian Primer. Liz was the Adult Services Director at the South Area Jewish Community Center. She enjoyed fifteen years as a piano consultant representing Steinway at M. Steinert & Sons, and plays flute, piano and guitar. She serves as a Trustee for her condo association. Her current passions in retirement include nature photography, walks by the ocean, listening to Bach, doing media projects on Apple, and word games.
